About Polynesian Soul

Tinomana Vachot is a self taught artist from Pirae, Tahiti. His father is Tahitian of French descent and his mother is from Hiva Oa in the Marquesas Islands. Tino combines his endless talent with the traditional art of New Zealand and the Marquesas, Society, Tuamotu and Hawaiian Islands. His original one of a kind pieces are done on tapa bark cloth, which adds to the uniqueness of his art. The intricate designs and symbolic figures in his drawings reflect his life in Tahiti and his travels throughout the Polynesian Triangle.
